Our Agency supports Technopark İzmir Center for Innovation—the very first guided project carried out by Turkish development agencies—in order to generate technology-focused innovations, thereby sharpening the region’s competitive edge.
One of the firsts of its kind in Turkey, the İzmir Technology Development Zone Technopark İzmir brings manufacturers together with innovative ideas and high-quality technological know-how.
The Center supported by our Agency opened its doors to the public in 2016 and is located at the heart of a region with high potential. The ecosystem flourishing under its wing serves as a convergence point for trailblazer manufacturers, academics, and scientists.
The Technopark has the potential to host over 1,000 employees and IT entrepreneurs from over 150 different firms and continues to play a pioneering role in boosting Türkiye’s potential as a hub of technology and innovation.
Technopark İzmir Center for Innovation sits on the same campus as the İzmir Institute of High Technology and currently hosts 47 different companies (set up by students and scholars alike) that convert information into trade and add value not only to Türkiye but also to the world at large.
