Various research and analysis studies are carried out in order to determine the structure of the region and its economic, social, cultural and spatial dynamics effectively.
Both the preparation process of the İzmir Regional Plan for 2014-2023 and the implementation period after, have been carried out in cooperation with universities and other specialized institutions.
İZMİR REGIONAL PLAN
The İzmir Regional Plan, which supports the policies and objectives set out in the 12th Development Plan and the National Strategy for Regional Development (2024–2028), has been prepared within the framework of sustainable development principles. It aims to ensure the most effective use of İzmir’s existing resources, promote awareness, responsibility, and efficiency in resource utilization, and uphold the quality-of-life standards of future generations.
