16 Feb 2024 Offshore Wind Tenders: Global Trends and Recommendations for Türkiye Report Presented
The “Offshore Wind Tenders: Global Trends and Recommendations for Türkiye” report, prepared in collaboration between the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TÜREB) and the SHURA Energy Transformation Center, was introduced through a panel held in İzmir.
During the panel, the presentation of the report, which aims to contribute to the design of an effective competition system for offshore wind energy under the YEKA mechanism in Türkiye by benefiting from international best practices, was conducted. Following the presentation of the report, WindEurope’s Policy Director, Pierre TARDIEU, also participated online in the panel, where the potential of offshore wind energy in our country and the efforts made for the development of this field were evaluated.
