Organised for the 12th time this year by the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TÜREB), the Turkish Wind Energy Congress (TÜREK) started yesterday. Within the scope of the congress, a session titled “Development Agencies Projects and Development Plans in Renewable Energy” was organised. In the session held with the participation of Dr. Mehmet Yavuz, Secretary General of Izmir Development Agency, the comparative superiority of Izmir in the field of clean energy was mentioned; It was emphasised that Izmir is the only province where licensed production is made in four basic clean energy fields: wind, solar, geothermal and biomass.
