10 Dec 2025 The MATRIX Project Has Begun
The MATRIX Project, which aims to promote circular fashion transformation in the Mediterranean, has commenced. The kick-off meeting for the MATRIX – Mediterranean Pathway for Circular Textiles Project, funded under the Interreg NEXT MED Program, was held at Igualada Fashion Lab in Spain.
The meeting, which brought together project partners from Türkiye, Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Egypt, and Palestine, discussed the project’s vision, objectives, and work packages. The project aims to support the Mediterranean textile and fashion sector in transitioning to circular production and to strengthen the design and sustainability capacity of 200 SMEs. As part of the project, a matching event will be organized in İzmir, bringing together 40 SMEs with 15 solution providers.
