19 Dec 2023 SMEs and Venture Capital Market Promotion Meeting Was Held
The SMEs and Venture Capital Market Promotion Meeting was organised in cooperation with Izmir Development Agency and Izmir Chamber of Commerce in order to inform entrepreneurs and SMEs about financing opportunities.
According to the “Communiqué on the Principles Regarding the Partnerships whose Shares will be Traded in the Venture Capital Market”, which was the main agenda of the meeting; companies with a total asset of at least 20 million TL and a net sales revenue of at least 10 million TL in the financial statements of the last year will be able to obtain the funds they need by selling their shares, which they will issue at least 10% of their capital, only to qualified and institutional investors without public offering their shares and without switching to the registered capital system. Thus, companies will take an important step towards institutionalisation and will be ready for public offering within a maximum of 5 years.
