The Search Conference for the project “Strengthening Bergama Parchment and Weaving in the Field of Intangible Cultural Heritage,” carried out by our Agency with the aim of preserving and sustaining the Bergama parchment-making tradition and the Bergama carpet-weaving tradition, was held.
The conference began with opening speeches and continued with a workshop attended by various public institutions and organizations, parchment and carpet weaving masters, and non-governmental organizations.
The conference aims to develop a feasible action plan and a common roadmap for the preservation and perpetuation of the parchment and carpet weaving traditions.
