15 Nov 2024 INSPIRE Project İzmir Information Day Event was Held
The İzmir Information Day Event of the “Capacity Building Project for the Appropriate Transformation of the Creative Economy in Türkiye (INSPIRE)”, which is carried out under the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and in partnership with İzmir Development Agency and Istanbul Development Agency in order to strengthen Türkiye’s creative economy potential, was held with a focus on “value chain in creative industries”.
Following the opening speech of Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, Secretary General of İzmir Development Agency, the event started with a presentation on the vision of the project and continued with Prof. Dr. Pier Luigi SACCO sharing his views on Türkiye’s potential as a cultural and creative powerhouse and the roadmap to be followed.
During the event, information was provided on the methods and findings of the first value chain analysis of the creative sectors in Türkiye, which was carried out within the scope of the INSPIRE Project, and a gamification activity was held for the participants to exchange ideas.
