02 Jun 2025 INSPIRE Creative Economy Summit was held
Within the scope of the “Capacity Building Project for the Appropriate Transformation of the Creative Economy in Türkiye (INSPIRE)” carried out under the coordination of the Directorate General of Development Agencies and in partnership with our Agency and İstanbul Development Agency, the international INSPIRE Creative Economy Summit, which addressed the multidimensional structure of the creative economy, was held on 29-30 May 2025 at Beykoz Kundura.
The Summit started with the opening speeches of Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology and Mr. Ahmet Şimşek, Director General of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
On the first day of the summit, panels evaluating the themes of international cooperation in the globalizing economy, policy-making processes, sustainability, technology and new opportunities in Türkiye’s ecosystem from a creative economy perspective were held. Preliminary findings of the national strategy policy document, one of the important outputs of the INSPIRE Project, were shared.
On the second day of the summit, our Secretary General Dr. Mehmet Yavuz moderated a panel discussion on the impact of artificial intelligence on the creative economy, innovative financing models and the sustainability of economic success in creative industries, and evaluated the opportunities in Türkiye’s creative economy ecosystem.
