07 Dec 2020 BEST FOR ENERGY PROJECT OPENİNG EVENT AND CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGİES İN TURKEY PANEL TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 9TH
BEST for Energy Project, implemented by our Agency with the partnership of the Association of Energy Industrialists and Businessmen (ENSİA), continues with BEST For Energy Project Opening Event and Clean Energy Technologies in Türkiye Panel. Following the short introduction of the Project, a panel discussion about the current state and future potential of clean energy technologies in Türkiye will be held at the event.
BEST for Energy (Boosting Effective and Sustainable Transformation for Energy) Project is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye under the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program, contracted by the Ministry of Industry and Technology (MOIT). The Project aims for the transformation of İzmir into a production center of clean energy and clean technologies, on the basis of green and blue growth efforts for İzmir. In order to realize this goal, a production and services cluster in the field of clean energy and clean technologies is aimed to be developed in İzmir and its hinterland. The project is regarded as one of the important activities carried out in Türkiye for the European Green Deal.
In the first part of the BEST For Energy Project Opening Event and Clean Energy Technologies in Türkiye Panel, the presentation of the activities which will be implemented with different stakeholders; companies and startups in the sector, universities and non-governmental organizations, public institutions, and students will take place. The Panel section will be moderated by Oğuz Can, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Director of Energy Efficiency and Environment Department and aims to raise awareness on the development of clean energy and clean technologies production in Türkiye.
