13 Nov 2024 Applications for İzmir Game Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program Started
Applications for the “İzmir Game Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program”, designed specifically for İzmir to strengthen game developer teams and studios, prepare them for local and international markets and bring them together with investors, have started.
The acceleration program, which was created by making use of the data obtained through participatory methods and the analyses carried out in the “İzmir Game Ecosystem Needs Analysis Workshop” conducted by the İzmir Development Agency, aims to reveal the potential of İzmir game entrepreneurs.
With a 14-week training and mentoring process, the program aims to support entrepreneurs in various areas, especially game development, publishing and marketing, and will offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to increase their technical competencies and strengthen their business models with one-to-one mentoring with experienced names in the game industry, workshops and development reports determined according to needs.
– In-depth training will be provided on topics such as game design, software development, graphic design, marketing strategies and financial planning through the ‘Technical Training and Business Oriented Mentoring’ process.
– Through ‘Workshops and Webinars’ and workshops and seminars with prominent names and successful companies in the sector, entrepreneurs from Izmir will be provided with a global vision and one-to-one interaction with successful examples.
– Through ‘Demo Day and Networking Events’, entrepreneurs from Izmir will have the opportunity to present their projects to investors, publishers and important representatives of the sector at networking events to be held during the programme and Demo Day events to be held at the end of the programme.
