We celebrate the Liberation of Izmir, the symbol of the Turkish nation’s struggle for independence, with the publication of the book “Life in Old Izmir with 100 Photographs on the 100th Anniversary of the Liberation of Izmir” compiled from Izmir photographs by Prof. Dr. Yavuz Çorapçıoğlu; on this historic day, we commemorate all the heroes of the national struggle, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with respect and gratitude.
