14 Jun 2024 Development Board Meeting was Held
The Development Council Meeting of the İzmir Development Agency was held on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at the İzmir Economics Congress Center. The opening speeches were delivered by İzmir Governor and Chairman of the İzmir Development Agency Board Dr. Süleyman ELBAN. Following the elections held during the meeting the Rector of İzmir Kâtip Çelebi University Prof. Dr. Saffet KÖSE, was elected as the Chairman of the Development Council while the Deputy Chairman was Prof. Dr. Musa ALCI Chairman of the İzmir Branch of the İlim Yayma Society.
At the Development Board meeting, elections were also held for the members of the Board of Directors of the İzmir Development Agency. As a result of the election, Işınsu KESTELLİ, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Izmir Commodity Exchange (ITB), Gökhan TEMUR, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MÜSİAD) İzmir Branch and Dr. Faruk GÜLER, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Aegean Free Zone Founder and Operator Inc.
The meeting also provided Development Council members with information on the Agency’s activities and the preparations for the 2024–2028 İzmir Regional Plan.
