18 Jul 2023 2022 MONITORING AND EVALUATION STUDY MEETING OF IZMIR TOURISM PROMOTION STRATEGY AND ACTION PLAN WAS HELD
An Informative Meeting was held on the 2022 Monitoring and Evaluation Study of Izmir Tourism Promotion Strategy and Action Plan, which aims to draw the tourism horizon of Izmir and defines the activities to be carried out for the development of tourism in Izmir. In the meeting held online, the analysis, findings and recommendations of the monitoring report prepared by Izmir Development Agency were conveyed to tourism stakeholders representing public, private sector and non-governmental organizations; opinions and evaluations were received from the participants.
The final report of the study, which aims to measure the progress in line with the Izmir Tourism Promotion Strategy and Action Plan in terms of visitor experience and economic contribution, to provide information to public, private sector and civil society stakeholders, researchers and practitioners operating in the region on tourism, and to contribute to the strengthening of Izmir tourism in this way, will be published on the website of Izmir Development Agency in the coming days.
