IDEATHON EVENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM ORGANIZED

Within the scope of the Youth Employment theme determined by the General Directorate of Development Agencies for the period of 2022-2023, the Ideathon event of the Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Program, which is carried out in cooperation with Izmir Development Agency, Youth Deal Cooperative and GDZ Elektrik, aiming to support youth entrepreneurship and employment in the electricity distribution sector, was organized.

The all-day Ideathon event pitted entrepreneurial ideas in the fields of electricity transmission, distribution and storage; solution-oriented startup ideas were developed with the support of mentors. At the end of the event, the three most successful startup ideas received awards, and two startup ideas were included in the incubation program.

Apart from the awards given within the scope of the program, the participants who will continue the program will be included in the special training program to be employed within GDZ Elektrik.
