02 Feb 2026 Investment Areas for the 2026 Local Development Initiative Incentive Program Have Been Announced
The Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology has determined the investment areas to be supported in 2026 under the Local Development Initiative Incentive Program, carried out in line with the Local Development Initiative.
According to the notification published in the Official Gazette dated January 31, 2026, it has been decided to support the following investment areas in İzmir in 2026.
• Production of Transmission Components (bearings, gears/gear sets, shafts, couplings, etc.)
• Production of Functional Food Ingredients Derived from Marine Products (fish/marine protein hydrolysates (FPH), collagen/gelatin, Omega-3 concentrates, mineral and calcium products, etc.)
• Nature-Based Tourism Investments in Districts within the Küçük Menderes Basin (ecotourism center, agrotourism center, elderly care center, etc.)
• Qualified Cultural Industry Investments (museums, art galleries, performing arts centers, multidisciplinary culture/event complexes, creative industry centers, design campuses, craft and digital design combined centers, etc.)
The application and initial evaluation processes will be carried out by our Agency. Detailed information regarding the 2026 implementation of the Local Development Initiative Incentive Program will be shared with the public in the coming days.
