- Sürdürülebilirlik temasında birlikte değer yaratmak için, kurumsal aktörlerle yeşil teknoloji startuplarını bir araya getiriyoruz.
Küresel gündemin en önemli meselelerinden olan sürdürülebilirliğe birlikte katkı vermek ve iş birliğinin ilk adımlarını atmak için buluşuyoruz. Kurumsal aktörlerle startupların iş birliği, girişimcilik ve inovasyon ekosisteminin bir sonraki aşamaya geçebilmesi için olmazsa olmaz. Ortak Ar-Ge projelerinden, hizmet/ürün satışına, yatırımlardan teknoloji lisanslamaya kadar farklı birçok kanaldan iş birliği için ön koşul ilk teması sağlamak. Kurumsal aktörlerle buluşmaya hazır yeşil teknoloji startuplarının işbirliği için gereken hazırlığı ve ilk görüşmeleri sağlamayı amaçlıyoruz. Gereken hazırlığı sağlamak üzere programa başvurusu kabul edilen startupları online girişimcilik kampına alıyoruz. Hazırlık kampı sonrasında startupları yenilikçi ürün/hizmetlerini sunmak üzere kamu kurumları, belediyeler, organize sanayi bölgeleri ve büyük şirketler gibi kurumsal aktörlerle Demo Day etkinliğinde buluşturuyoruz.
İlki 2018 yılında İzmir’den startupların katılımıyla düzenlenen Program, 2019 yılında tüm Türkiye’den startupların katılımına açıldı ve yoğun ilgi gördü. 2020 yılında çevrimiçi ortama taşınan etkinliğe akademik girişimcilik modülü eklendi. Her yıl yeniliklerle devam eden programın 2021 yılında dahil edilen tarım girişimciliği bileşeniyle etki alanını genişletmesi hedefleniyor.

We meet to take the first steps of the collaboration in order to contribute to sustainability which is one of the most important global challenges in the 21st century. Corporate-startup engagement is essential for the next jump in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. That’s why we meet to take the first steps of this engagement. The engagement can take shape by way of different models such as joint R&D projects, technology licensing, product/service sales, investments etc. We aim to provide initial contact for the engagement of corporates and startups. To this aim, we take the startups whose applications are accepted to the online boot camp. After the boot camp, we bring startups together with corporate actors such as public institutions, municipalities, organized industrial zones and large companies at the Demo Day event to present their innovative products/services.
GreenTech İzmir, first launched in 2018 with the participation of startups from İzmir, was opened to the participation of startups from all over Turkey in 2019 and attracted great interest. Next year, the event was moved to online platform and an academic entrepreneurship module was included. Growing with innovations every year, the agricultural entrepreneurship component is now integrated to GreenTech İzmir which aims to expand its sphere of influence in 2021 as well.
