07 Dec 2020 İZMİR REGİONAL PORTS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY ONLİNE WORKSHOP
The workshop held within the scope of İzmir Region Ports Development Strategy project launched by our Agency in cooperation with Piri Reis University brought together bureaucrats, academics, and industry professionals from the universities as well as public and private sectors in the port and maritime transport ecosystem. Implemented strategy project aims to lay out the road map necessary for the development and sustainability of the port economy in our region in line with the shifting maritime transport trends across the globe. The workshop addressed issues such as risks and opportunities affecting İzmir ports and maritime transportation, smart and green transformation of ports, logistics management, and integration of multi-modal transportation.
