Küresel gündemin en önemli meselelerinden olan sürdürülebilirliğe birlikte katkı vermek ve iş birliğinin ilk adımlarını atmak için buluşuyoruz. Kurumsal aktörlerle startupların iş birliği, girişimcilik ve inovasyon ekosisteminin bir sonraki aşamaya geçebilmesi için olmazsa olmaz. Ortak Ar-Ge projelerinden, hizmet/ürün satışına, yatırımlardan teknoloji lisanslamaya kadar farklı birçok kanaldan iş birliği için ön koşul ilk teması sağlamak. Kurumsal aktörlerle buluşmaya hazır yeşil teknoloji startuplarının işbirliği için gereken hazırlığı ve ilk görüşmeleri sağlamayı amaçlıyoruz. Gereken hazırlığı sağlamak üzere programa başvurusu kabul edilen startupları online girişimcilik kampına alıyoruz. Hazırlık kampı sonrasında startupları yenilikçi ürün/hizmetlerini sunmak üzere kamu kurumları, belediyeler, organize sanayi bölgeleri ve büyük şirketler gibi kurumsal aktörlerle Demo Day etkinliğinde buluşturuyoruz.

We meet to take the first steps of the collaboration in order to contribute to sustainability which is one of the most important global challenges in the 21st century. Corporate-startup engagement is essential for the next jump in the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. That’s why we meet to take the first steps of this engagement. The engagement can take shape by way of different models such as joint R&D projects, technology licensing, product/service sales, investments etc. We aim to provide initial contact for the engagement of corporates and startups. To this aim, we take the startups whose applications are accepted to the online boot camp. After the boot camp, we bring startups together with corporate actors such as public institutions, municipalities, organized industrial zones and large companies at the Demo Day event to present their innovative products/services.

İzmir Kalkınma Ajansı’nın Türkiye Ekonomi Politikaları Araştırma Vakfı (TEPAV) iş birliği ile hayata geçirdiği GreenTech 2018 Programı İzmir’de doğal kaynakların etkin kullanımını ve çevresel bozulmaların önlenmesini sağlayacak yeşil teknolojilerle ilgili çalışan startupları ve bu startupları ilgi alanında tutan büyük kurumsal şirketleri bir araya getirdi.
Program kapsamında İzmir’deki yeşil teknolojilerle ilişkili startup havuzu oluşturuldu, teknoloji geliştirme bölgeleri ve diğer paydaşlarla görüşmeler yapılarak değerlendirme süreci yürütüldü. Startuplara mentör desteği verildi ve profesyonel tanıtım sunumlarını hazırlamaları sağlandı.
11 Mayıs’ta gerçekleşen buluşmada 12 startup ile Türkiye’nin 10 büyük kurumsal şirketi bir araya getirildi. Buluşma programına kurumsal şirketler tarafında Ford, Yaşar Holding, Tüpraş, Siemens, Cisco, EPİAŞ, İnci Holding, DYO, Viking Kağıt ve Abalıoğlu Holding katıldı. Programda yer alan startuplar ise otomotiv teknolojileri, malzeme teknolojileri, sensör teknolojileri, enerji teknolojileri, yapay zeka ve yazılım teknolojileri gibi alanlarda çalışan D&Y, B-Preg, Dynel, Onur Enerji, Botart, NT Organik Enerji, Diploid, ST Biotech, Nika ECU, Pikotek, Kodeco ve OTTO firmaları oldu. İzmir’deki üniversiteler, teknoloji transfer ofisleri, kuluçka merkezleri ve teknoloji geliştirme bölgelerinin yanı sıra Enerji Piyasaları İşletme A.Ş. (EPİAŞ) ve KOSGEB de programa ortak oldu.
GreenTech İzmir 2018 Kurumsal Şirket – Startup buluşmasında startuplar sunumlarını yaptılar, soruları cevapladılar ve kurumsal şirketlerle bire bir görüşmeler yaptılar. Bu görüşmeler sonucunda işbirliklerine yönelik devam görüşmeleri ve süreçleri planlandı.

The GreenTech 2018 Program, implemented by İzmir Development Agency in cooperation with the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV), brought together startups working on green technologies that will ensure the effective use of natural resources and prevention of environmental degradation, and large corporates that keep these startups in their area of interest.
Within the scope of the program, a startup pool related to green technologies was created in İzmir and an evaluation process was carried out with technology development zones and other stakeholders. Mentorship was given to startups and they were enabled to prepare professional presentations.
On the Demo Day dated May 11, totally 12 startups from İzmir got together with Turkey’s largest corporates such as Ford, Yaşar Holding, Tüpraş, Siemens, Cisco, EPİAŞ, İnci Holding, DYO, Viking and Abalıoğlu Holding. On the other hand, B-Preg, Dynel, Onur Energy, Botart, NT Organic Energy, Diploid, ST Biotech, D&Y, Nika ECU, Pikotek, Kodeco and OTTO participated as the startups developing green technologies in the fields of automotive, materials, sensors, energy and artificial intelligence. Startups made their presentations, answered questions and had one-to-one interviews with corporates. As a result of the event, follow-up meetings were planned for further cooperation.
